Growing up on Maui, the ocean was part of how I lived, worked, and understood care. After years working in mental health, I saw how hard people were trying to care for themselves—often without clear, trustworthy information.

I started making skincare the same way I approach care: intentional, thoughtful, and grounded in respect for both body and environment. One product. No shortcuts. Just honest ingredients I could stand behind.

I needed something that would actually work, and that wouldn't be polluting the ocean and this is it! I'm amazed at how well the sunscreen goes on stays on for hours without having to reapply, and it doesn't come off like an oil slick in the ocean. It also blends into my face nicely and doesn't leave a weird film. I can put it on, jump in the water, and be in the Maui sun for hours without burning my face.

My biggest priority when it comes to skincare is knowing that the ingredients are natural and that the products are not harming animals and the environment. I’m especially in love with the reef-safe tinted sunscreen. It blends in easily, feels lightweight, and doesn’t leave a white cast on the skin. The body lotion bar smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and nourished. And the nourishing tinted lip balm smells so delicious that I’m tempted to eat it;) I highly recommend Maui Mana products to anyone looking for effective, natural skincare that feels wonderful to use.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have the tinted SPF lip balm, the tinted sunscreen, and I have been using the peppermint lip balm for while now. I am LOVING these products! They glide on super smooth, rub in easily and make your skin feel silky soft. These are products I can feel good about using! Being  a darker complexion girly I am always worried about white cast in sunscreens, but I don’t get that at all in these. I will absolutely be getting these products as gifts for all my friends who come visit the islands!
